After spending Tuesday with her two sons Preston, 2, and Jayden James, 1, Spears switched into pop-star mode, arriving at L.A. restaurant and nightclub Social Hollywood to shoot the video for her tabloid-bashing single "Piece of Me" - the second single off her album Blackout. (It's being directed by Wayne Isham, who helmed Spears's "I'm Not a Girl, Not Yet a Woman" video.)
Spears and her backup dancers donned identical blonde bob wigs and black trench coats.
The premise? "The paparazzi are following [Britney], so they're dressed alike to trick them," a source close to Spears. "They all go into a club to get away. One [photographer] sneaks in, but Britney, in the end, discovers him."
The stakes are high for Spears, whose video for "Gimme More" was poorly received when it was released in October. (The song itself, however, was a hit.) Carson Daly is the first late night talk show host to resume production since the writers' strike has begun!
The Last Call host begins shooting new episodes this week, which are set to begin airing next week.
All the other hosts - Leno, Letterman, etc. - have opted to air repeats rather than cross the picket line.
The strike remains in effect but talks between the writers and the media moguls resumed on Monday, after four weeks of a standstill. Negotiations are said to be going well.
No word on whether or not the other late night hosts will follow Daly's lead.

Singer Anita Baker sang Donda West's favorite song "Summertime" at the funeral. Kanye greeted Anita after the performance, while fighting back tears.
A horse drawn carriage took the casket of Dr. Donda West to her final resting place. The church was packed with celebrities who paid their respects including Jay-Z and Beyonce.

Actor Dennis Quaid and his wife, Kimberly Buffington, welcomed fraternal twins (via surrogate) on November 8th. Unfortunately, those twins - Thomas Boone and Zoe Grace - are now fighting for their lives after an accidental overdose was given at Cedars-Sinai Medical Center in Los Angeles on Sunday. The newborns were given massive doses of Heparin, a blood thinner. Babies typically get 10 units. Quaid’s kids were given 10,000!!! The drug is used to flush out IV lines and prevent blood clots. After the accidental overdose on Sunday, both babies started to “bleed out.” Apparently, a technician stored the Heparin in the wrong place so when the nurse grabbed the medicine for the babies without looking it was the wrong dosage. The infants are now being given Protamine, which reverses the effects of Heparin. The twins are now at the neo-natal intensive care unit and reportedly in stable condition.

Tom Cruise's latest movie, Lion For Lambs, opened in the
The film came in at #4 with a measly $6.7 million take.
The #3 film took in three times as much as Cruise's film! That was Vince Vaughn's Fred Clause, which made $19.2 mill. The Clause film will also have much more staying power as it is a holiday flick and very family-friendly.
This does not bode well for Tom's new United Artist, as Lion For Lambs was the first film he did for the studio, which he's now a part of.

Though the singer has not confirmed the gender of her baby, there was a distinctive theme to the gifts - the color blue.
Among the presents bought from baby boutique Bel Bambini, where the singer set up her registry last month, were a blue Loved Mom Guitar shirt, a Cariboo bassinet with blue dot bedding, Trumpette Johnny's socks - and Sozo Whiz Kid wee block, meant for use when changing a baby boy's diapers.
Aguilera, 26, formally confirmed her pregnancy to Glamour magazine earlier this month, saying she will "enter into mommyhood" next year.
This will be the first child for Aguilera and her husband, music executive Jordan Bratman. The two were married in November 2005.

Lilly Allen is getting her own TV show for BBC3 next year.
The singer, who first gained success on MySpace, will base her new show on the social networking phenomenon.
Viewers will shape the show online by becoming her virtual friends and contributing to topical discussions, putting questions to guests and even presenting parts of the show.
The audience will consist entirely of Allen's online friends, who will also have exclusive access to behind-the-scenes footage of the show and will be able to sign up to have highlights sent directly to their mobile phones.
The show will feature celebrity guests, topical people from the online world, bands and unsigned acts chosen by members of the Allen network.
A Lilly Allen and Friends website will give each member a profile from which they can access and comment on the show, while it will also follow the progress of the new music acts showcased on the programme.
