UMA IN AA?

WORD FROM A MISSIONARY: "So I heard from a friend of a friend this weekend, that Uma Thurman was in the same AA meeting that he was in. I never heard she had a problem with alcohol...."

This is high upsetting news to Tha Mayor. Can anyone confirm / deny? THA MISSION LOVES AND SUPPORTS YOU, UMA!

The film, which played in 2,250 theaters, opened at a very disappointing 9th place - taking in just $4.1 million.

Six degrees of sex separation!

Six degrees of sex separation!

Leonardo DiCaprio used to date supermodel Gisele Bundchen, who is now boning football stud Tom Brady.

Pro surfer Kelly Slater, has also dated Bundchen - not to mention Pamela Anderson and Cameron Diaz.

Now, Israeli media is reporting that DiCaprio's has broken up with Israeli model Bar Rafaeli.

AND, making things far more interesting, Bar was in Israel this past weekend with Slater, who was detained by local police after he got too aggressive with a paparazzo that was trying to take pics of him and Rafaeli.

A similar incident happened earlier this year with DiCaprio and Bar.

I KID U NOT...

Shocking. Shocking news.

Kid Rock was arrested in Atlanta on Sunday.

And, no, it wasn't for DUI.

Rock was busted after getting into a brawl and charged with battery.

What makes it totally brilliant, though, is that Kid was arrested at a Waffle House.

After performing in the area on Saturday night, Kid continued the after pAArty at the restaurant, arriving at around 5:00 AM.

A male customer recognized a woman in Rock's entourage, and police say that customer and the woman had words. That escalated into an argument, then a physical fight in the parking lot of the Waffle House. Police were summoned, and Kid Rock's tour bus was pulled over a short time later.

Star-studded crowd show up for M.I.A. in New York

MIA performed the second of two rousing shows at Terminal 5 last night in New York on the penultimate evening of the CMJ Music Marathon 2007.

In front of a stunning array of visuals, as well as many that resembled instructional dance DVD images, the singer made her way through a 90-minute set in the brand new 3,000 capacity venue which completed construction just days ago.

Yeah Yeah Yeahs Nick Zinner and Brian Chase, Beastie Boys' Mike D and the Black Kids all watched among an audience filled with the most colourful-clothes this side of a Klaxons show.

The singer performed several tracks that were absent from her summer tour including 'Galang' which she mashed up with Lil' Mama's 'Lip Gloss', while 'Bird Flu' saw MIA invite the crowd to join her onstage, where the many metallic-clad kids danced up a storm.

'Bucky Done Gun', 'Jimmy' and '10 Dollar' all made an appearance in the set, which closed with 'Hustle', featuring Afrikan Boy.

BRIT BRIT...

Britney Spears who had all visitation privileges stripped after continually disregarding a judge's orders, has regained visitation privileges with her sons.

WERK THAT MAGIC WAND !

Harry Potter author J.K. Rowling delighted and stunned the world on Friday when she announced to a pack house at NYC's Carnegie Hall that Hogwarts headmaster Dumbledore is gay.

The shocked audience gasped and then then applauded, prompting Rowling to say, "I would have told you earlier if I knew it would make you so happy."

She should have told us sooner! That would have been so wonderfully inspiring to have a character in one of the major children's literary franchises of our time be gay.

J.K. also revealed that Dumbledore was smitten with rival Gellert Grindelwald, who he beat in a battle between good and bad wizards long ago.

"Falling in love can blind us to an extent," she added, saying Dumbledore was "horribly, terribly let down" and his love for Grindelwald was his "great tragedy".

SPICE BLOG.....

Here's the first entry, posted by Melanie C.

"Hi Everyone,

Welcome to the first blog!

Wow, there is so much to tell you! Things are really hotting up now with the tour preparations. Emma, Victoria, Geri and I had a fantastic meeting with Roberto Cavalli's team last week, the costumes for the tour are going to be AMAZING!! It's so exciting to work with such talented and lovely people, we feel very lucky.

I hope you've all been watching Mel B on Dancing With The Stars, she's doing brilliantly and we are all very proud. She's flying over today and we're going to be shooting our video for Headlines (Friendship Never Ends). We'll also be doing lots of filming for our documentary. It's really fun reminiscing and it is actually quite emotional.

I've got a busy couple of weeks promoting my solo single, This Time. I was in Manchester at The Key 103 awards on Wednesday evening and on the breakfast show yesterday morning, announcing our new gigs. I'll also be on Graham Norton, Loose Women and The One show so tune in for plenty of Spice gossip!

We really can't thank you enough for your amazing support, this tour is going to be incredible.
