GEORGE MICHAEL SPARED JAIL SENTENCE - PLEADS GUILTY!


George Michael escaped jail term after he arrived at court for sentencing this morning (June 8) at Brent Magistrates Court in north London.

After pleading guilty to the offence, the singer was told he will not receive a custodial sentence for driving while unfit.Michael was arrested on October 1 after he was found slumped at the steering wheel of his car in the early hours of the morning.

According to BBC News, he expressed his shame, telling the court "I was ashamed I had done something really wrong in putting other people at risk."Magistrate Katherine Marshall said she was considering giving him a suspended sentence or community service.

Meanwhile George has 2 sold out shows at Wembley Stadium this weekend.
