Here's a re-cap of tha story:

Your latest anti-gay Republican politician caught getting-it-on with another man is: Richard Curtis, a Washington state representative from La Center, in the southwest part of the state. Last weekend, Curtis was in Spokane, Washington, for a legislative retreat. And, according to the police, he met a gay man, 26-year-old Cody Castagna, at an adult bookstore called the Hollywood Erotic Boutique. Curtis took him back to his room at the Davenport Tower hotel, where they had consensual man-on-man relations. Afterwards, Castagna allegedly threatened that he'd go public about their sex unless Curtis paid him $1,000. Witnesses at Hollywood Erotic Boutique say they saw Curtis walk into a bathroom there and come out wearing long, red women's stockings and a black, sequined lingerie top. Curtis, of course, is denying everything. He says there was no sex, he's not gay and that he, quote, "got into this mess just trying to help someone out." He also told the police he believes he was, quote, "slipped some type of drug." One thing that DOES seem suspicious: The rest of the legislators all stayed at a hotel called the Red Lion. . . and Curtis intentionally chose to separate himself and stay at the Davenport Tower. Curtis is married and has children.

The Davenport Tower has very modern surveillance equipment in its lobby, so investigators are reviewing their footage to see what, if anything, Curtis did with Castagna in public areas. They're also searching for Castagna. No arrests have been made. Curtis, just like SENATOR LARRY CRAIG, has always voted AGAINST anything that could help gay rights. He voted against domestic partnerships for gay couples and against a bill that would've outlawed discrimination based on sexual orientation.
In an interview, Castagna says he didn't extort Curtis, quote, "I will say this: Richard offered me money to engage in sexual acts I wasn't into. My stupid ass agreed. [Now] he turned the whole thing around in his favor, screwing up my whole life."
