MEAT LOAF QUITS - NO ONE CARES

UK's The Mirror Reports: Meat Loaf sensationally walked off stage last night telling fans he couldn’t go on. The drama could signal the end of the rock legend’s career and his management has not commented on whether he has quit for good or will resume his tour. The 60-year-old was on stage at Newcastle’s Metro Arena and an hour into the concert, during which he was said to have struggled with his voice, announced he couldn’t go on. “I can no longer continue. I take my coat off and thank you for 30 years,” the Newcastle Evening Chronicle quoted him as saying. When he left the stage he told the thousands of fans gathered that it may be the last show he ever does. The larger-than-life star was on the European leg of his Three Bats Tour. Each show lasted 150 minutes and included hits spanning his career. He was due to appear at the Birmingham NEC tomorrow night. The venue is still waiting to hear from promoters.
