BRITNEY SPEARS RELEASED FROM HOSPITAL

According to the Los Angeles Times, Britney Spears was released from the psychiatric ward at the UCLA Medical Center today, after nearly a week of treatment.  Spears slipped out with little fanfare, unlike the police motorcade that followed her to hospital last week.  While it is unclear where the pop star was headed, sources tell the paper that she might go to one of her homes before seeking additional treatment.  Brit’s father Jamie and an attorney still have temporary conservatorship over the singer.
