Blonde Ambition averaged an embarrassing $48 per screen on Friday for a total box office of $384. Based on an $8 ticket price, that means that 6 people paid to see the movie at each of those theatres, and only 48 people went to see the movie!
Jessica's "star vehicle" will gross just $1,190 this weekend or $149 per location.
Blonde Ambition will be released on DVD in January.
Simpson's next movie, Major Movie Star, is expected to go straight to DVD too.

The source added that Jamie Lynn and Casey’s parents “don’t think they should. They are too young. They should wait.” The source says one major problem is that Jamie Lynn has, “the mind of a teenager. She doesn’t understand the ramifications. Supermodel Gisele Bundchen is to design a range of clothes for fashion house Dolce & Gabbana. The Brazilian model, currently the face of the label's latest fragrance 'The One', will launch her ready-to-wear collection in spring. Bundchen by Dolce & Gabbana is expected to appear in selected stores across the globe by March, reports Vogue. Described as "chic and feminine" the range will be the first design venture for Gisele, who has reportedly considered previous collaborations but waited to work with her two friends. The model has been a regular fixture at Dolce & Gabbana over recent years, appearing on the catwalk and in print campaigns for the design duo. Her appearance in the campaign for 'The One' has apparently helped to boost worldwide sales of the fragrance by some £75 million. Jim Carrey and Ewan McGregor will fake bump mussies for a new movie called "I Love You Phillip Morris." It will be directed by the screenwriters of "Bad Santa." The dark comedy casts Jim Carrey as a married Texas conman who is sent to prison and falls in love with his cellmate, Phillip Morris. Jim's character tries to escape from prison four times by faking his death from AIDS, using a green pen and water to dye his prison suit to look like medical scrubs and other ways. Phillip eventually gets out of prison, but Jim's character is sentenced to 144 years for trying to get out so many. The movie is based on facts. There's the whole plot, saved you the $11. "Shooting" will begin this Spring. Watching Ewan and Jim doing gay, prison sex isn't such a bad thing I guess. Jim strikes me as someone who really wants to win an Oscar, so I was waiting for him to play someone with a disability or someone gay. Jim's totally the bottom. (Tha Mayor agrees with that sentiment.)
JAMIE-LYNN'S LETTER TO THE NATIONAL ENQUIRER!
THE NATIONAL ENQUIRER WAS RIGHT - back in late July, the National Enquirer was the first to report that Jamie Lynn Spears was pregnant. They were promptly sued, even though now it seems they were correct (various sources say today she is much further along than the 12 weeks she claims). But awesome gets awesomer, as the NE is emailing people like me the angry letter they received when the story broke:
"Ms. Spears is a devout Christian with a spotless reputation, who lives in accordance with the highest moral and ethical standards in accordance with her faith. There is no "rumor concerning Ms. Spears' (non-existent) pregnancy, except perhaps for the baseless rumor just now being created by the National Enquirer. Ms. Spears is not pregnant. It is pathetic for the National Enquirer to attempt to create a wholly baseless rumor that Ms. Spears is pregnant, so it can run a malicious story and false story which would be emotionally devastating to a morally upright 16 year old girl."
Too bad she wasn't physically upright too, maybe this wouldn't have happened. Zing!

Jamie Lynn Spears told the new issue of OK! magazine that she is 12 weeks pregnant. Not so, claims TMZ. "We hear Jamie is further along than the 12 weeks she says in the mag's article," they say. "Expect a spring baby." Wow. Maybe The National Enquirer was right after all???? The tabloid reported on July 28th that Jamie Lynn was pregnant. If she had found out only a few weeks before then, that would put her around the five month mark now!
Lynne Spears's Parenting Book 'Delayed Indefinitely'
Lynne Spears's book about raising her famous daughters Britney and Jamie Lynn has been put on hold, the publisher confirms to PEOPLE. "The book is delayed indefinitely. It's delayed, not cancelled," says a spokeswoman for Thomas Nelson, which publishes inspirational books and Bibles. It had been scheduled for a spring 2008 release and was put on hold last week, says the rep. On Tuesday, news hit that 16-year-old Jamie Lynn is pregnant with her boyfriend's child. Publishers' Weekly described the book as "Lynne Spears's personal story of raising high-profile children while coming from a low-profile Louisiana community." The publisher declined to comment on whether the focus of the book would change in light of the pregnancy announcement. "We are standing behind Lynn at this time and understand that she needs time with her family – we support that," says the spokeswoman.

Ed’s very happy. He is really looking after her. Lily could not be happier. It’s the icing on the cake for what has been an incredible 18 months for her. The Associated Press Reporting: Another Spears baby is reportedly on the way — and it's not Britney's. Jamie Lynn Spears, the 16-year-old "Zoey 101" star and sister of Britney, told OK! magazine that she's pregnant and that the father is her boyfriend, Casey Aldridge. "It was a shock for both of us, so unexpected," she said. "I was in complete and total shock and so was he."
Spears is 12 weeks along and initially kept the news to herself when she learned of the pregnancy from an at-home test and subsequent doctor visit, she told the celebrity magazine, which hits stands in New York on Wednesday and the rest of the country by Friday. What message does she want to send to other teens about premarital sex? "I definitely don't think it's something you should do; it's better to wait," she told the magazine. "But I can't be judgmental because it's a position I put myself in. "After she found out from a doctor that she was pregnant, she said, "I took two weeks to myself where I didn't tell anybody." "Only one of my friends knew because I needed to work out what I would do for myself before I let anyone's opinion affect my decision. Then I told my parents and my friends. I was scared, but I had to do what was right for me," she said. Spears broke the news to her mother, Lynne, just before Thanksgiving, the magazine reported. "She was very upset because it wasn't what she expected at all," Spears said. "A week after, she had time to cope with it and became very supportive." Lynne Spears, already grandmother to Britney's young sons, told the magazine: "I didn't believe it because Jamie Lynn's always been so conscientious. She's never late for her curfew. I was in shock. I mean, this is my 16-year-old baby."
She said her actress daughter, the telegenic heroine of her popular Nickelodeon series, has known Aldridge for years and began dating him in high school. But in a recent interview with The Associated Press, Spears said she had no steady boyfriend. "I kind of just keep my options open," she said. "I have a bunch of friends that I always hang out with, a bunch of guy friends." She declined to talk about her older sister. Spears spoke to the AP shortly before Thanksgiving, the day she told OK! she informed her mother about the pregnancy. Jamie Lynn plans to raise the baby in her home state of Louisiana — "so it can have a normal family life." Nickelodeon released a statement: "We respect Jamie Lynn's decision to take responsibility in this sensitive and personal situation. We know this is a very difficult time for her and her family, and our primary concern right now is for Jamie Lynn's well being." A publicist for the network did not immediately respond to phone and e-mail requests for additional comment. "Zoey 101" is scheduled to conclude its third season Jan. 4 with a cliffhanger episode in which Spears' character must decide whether to leave her fictional Pacific Coast Academy boarding school in California to join her parents in London. The show is scheduled to resume in February, and its producer, Dan Schneider, has said filming on the fourth season has already been completed.
