Blonde Ambition averaged an embarrassing $48 per screen on Friday for a total box office of $384. Based on an $8 ticket price, that means that 6 people paid to see the movie at each of those theatres, and only 48 people went to see the movie!
Jessica's "star vehicle" will gross just $1,190 this weekend or $149 per location.
Blonde Ambition will be released on DVD in January.
Simpson's next movie, Major Movie Star, is expected to go straight to DVD too.

The source added that Jamie Lynn and Casey’s parents “don’t think they should. They are too young. Supermodel Gisele Bundchen is to design a range of clothes for fashion house Dolce & Gabbana. The Brazilian model, currently the face of the label's latest fragrance 'The One', will launch her ready-to-wear collection in spring. Bundchen by Dolce & Gabbana is expected to appear in selected stores across the globe by March, reports Vogue. Described as "chic and feminine" the range will be the first design venture for Gisele, who has reportedly considered previous collaborations but waited to work with her two friends. Jim Carrey and Ewan McGregor will fake bump mussies for a new movie called "I Love You Phillip Morris." It will be directed by the screenwriters of "Bad Santa." The dark comedy casts Jim Carrey as a married Texas conman who is sent to prison and falls in love with his cellmate, Phillip Morris. Jim's character tries to escape from prison four times by faking his death from AIDS, using a green pen and water to dye his prison suit to look like medical scrubs and other ways. Phillip eventually gets out of prison, but Jim's character is sentenced to 144 years for trying to get out so many. The movie is based on facts. There's the whole plot, saved you the $11. "Shooting" will begin this Spring. Watching Ewan and Jim doing gay, prison sex isn't such a bad thing I guess. Jim strikes me as someone who really wants to win an Oscar, so I was waiting for him to play someone with a disability or someone gay. Jim's totally the bottom. (Tha Mayor agrees with that sentiment.)

THE NATIONAL ENQUIRER WAS RIGHT - back in late July, the National Enquirer was the first to report that Jamie Lynn Spears was pregnant. They were promptly sued, even though now it seems they were correct (various sources say today she is much further along than the 12 weeks she claims). But awesome gets awesomer, as the NE is emailing people like me the angry letter they received when the story broke:
"Ms. Spears is a devout Christian with a spotless reputation, who lives in accordance with the highest moral and ethical standards in accordance with her faith. There is no "rumor concerning Ms. Spears' (non-existent) pregnancy, except perhaps for the baseless rumor just now being created by the National Enquirer. Ms. Spears is not pregnant. It is pathetic for the National Enquirer to attempt to create a wholly baseless rumor that Ms. Spears is pregnant, so it can run a malicious story and false story which would be emotionally devastating to a morally upright 16 year old girl."

If she had found out only a few weeks before then, that would put her around the five month mark now!

Lynne Spears's book about raising her famous daughters Britney and Jamie Lynn has been put on hold, the publisher confirms to PEOPLE. "The book is delayed indefinitely. It's delayed, not cancelled," says a spokeswoman for Thomas Nelson, which publishes inspirational books and Bibles. It had been scheduled for a spring 2008 release and was put on hold last week, says the rep. On Tuesday, news hit that 16-year-old Jamie Lynn is pregnant with her boyfriend's child. Publishers' Weekly described the book as "Lynne Spears's personal story of raising high-profile children while coming from a low-profile Louisiana community." The publisher declined to comment on whether the focus of the book would change in light of the pregnancy announcement. The Associated Press Reporting: Another Spears baby is reportedly on the way — and it's not Britney's. Jamie Lynn Spears, the 16-year-old "Zoey 101" star and sister of Britney, told OK! magazine that she's pregnant and that the father is her boyfriend, Casey Aldridge. "It was a shock for both of us, so unexpected," she said. "I was in complete and total shock and so was he."
Spears is 12 weeks along and initially kept the news to herself when she learned of the pregnancy from an at-home test and subsequent doctor visit, she told the celebrity magazine, which hits stands in New York on Wednesday and the rest of the country by Friday. What message does she want to send to other teens about premarital sex? "I definitely don't think it's something you should do; it's better to wait," she told the magazine. "But I can't be judgmental because it's a position I put myself in. "After she found out from a doctor that she was pregnant, she said, "I took two weeks to myself where I didn't tell anybody." "Only one of my friends knew because I needed to work out what I would do for myself before I let anyone's opinion affect my decision. Then I told my parents and my friends. I was scared, but I had to do what was right for me," she said. Spears broke the news to her mother, Lynne, just before Thanksgiving, the magazine reported. "She was very upset because it wasn't what she expected at all," Spears said. "A week after, she had time to cope with it and became very supportive." Lynne Spears, already grandmother to Britney's young sons, told the magazine: "I didn't believe it because Jamie Lynn's always been so conscientious. She's never late for her curfew. I was in shock. I mean, this is my 16-year-old baby."
She said her actress daughter, the telegenic heroine of her popular Nickelodeon series, has known Aldridge for years and began dating him in high school. But in a recent interview with The Associated Press, Spears said she had no steady boyfriend. "I kind of just keep my options open," she said. Reese & Vince: Trouble on THA SET
Reese Witherspoon and Vince Vaughan strike me as an unlikely pair -- in movies and/or in reality -- and it seems like their differences might just be making filming on their new movie, Four Christmases, a bit challenging. Reese is a self-proclaimed Type A personality -- she even named her production company Type A Films -- Vince, on the other hand, is more like a Type D. "Vince rolls onto set in the morning looking like he just came in from a night out, while Reese will arrive early looking camera-ready," an on-set source tells Ben Widdicombe of Gatecrasher. "Then Reese tries to force Vince into blocking out each scene and running through their lines as Vince tries to convince her that he's an ad-libber and wants to play around and see where the scene goes." Even though they have very different methods, the filming of the flick remains on schedule. "She's a one-take perfectionist and Vince likes to try it a few different ways," laughs the spy. "Sometimes Vince will be standing behind her and he has this look on his face that he just wants to kill her!"

The ever-evolving Madonna was announced as a Rock and Roll Hall of Fame inductee on Thursday along with John Mellencamp, The Ventures, Leonard Cohen and The Dave Clark Five. A panel of 600 industry figures selected the five acts to be inducted at the annual ceremony, to be held March 10 in New York. "The 2008 inductees are trailblazers -- all unique and influential in their genres," Rock and Roll Hall of Fame Foundation President and CEO Joel Peresman said in a statement. "From poetry to pop, these five acts demonstrate the rich diversity of rock and roll itself." To be eligible, artists must have issued a first single or album at least 25 years before nomination. Madonna Louise Ciccone signed with Sire Records in 1982 and became one of MTV's first stars two years later with "Like A Virgin." She has constantly altered her image and appearance ever since, showing staying power that few '80s stars could muster. From rosaries and bare midriffs to cone-shaped bras, Madonna's reinvention of herself has been as prolific as her chart dominance, which included seven No. 1 hits and three No. 1 albums in the '80s alone. The actress and fashion icon created plenty of controversy along the way, drawing the ire of religious leaders in 2006 for a scene of Madonna on a mirrored cross and wearing a crown of thorns as part of her worldwide "Confessions" tour.
Mellencamp, the Indiana native with the ever-changing name, hit the scene as John Cougar in the early '80s with "Jack and Diane" and "Hurts So Good." He later became John Cougar Mellencamp -- and the voice of America's heartland -- with hits like "Pink Houses" and "Small Town" before finally settling into his given name, John Mellencamp.
Cohen went from acclaimed poet in Canada to a folk rock icon with "Suzanne" and "Dress Rehearsal Rag" in the late 1960s, making him a big part of the singer-songwriter movement.
The Ventures defined instrumental guitar rock in the '60s with surfer anthems like "Walk Don't Run" and "Hawaii Five-O," and The Dave Clark Five were one of the most successful British invasion bands with the iconic "Glad All Over."
The Rock Hall will also honor Little Walter in its sideman category for helping establish the modern blues harmonica on recordings with legends like Muddy Waters and Bo Diddley.
Producers Gamble & Huff will be honored in the non-performer category. Kenny Gamble and Leon Huff's Philadelphia International label, which had artists that included the O'Jays, McFadden & Whitehead, and Lou Rawls, featured powerful rhythm sections with a disco beat. They won a Grammy for best R&B song on Simply Red's cover of the Blue Notes' "If You Don't Know Me By Know."

AN OPEN LETTER FROM AMY WINEHOUSE'S MUM...
Amy Winehouse's mother, Janis, has written her drug addict daughter an open letter, in the hopes of reaching her in a new way.
The Rehab singer has refused treatment for her junkie ways.
The letter reads:
"Dear Amy,
I HOPE you understand why I'm writing this. We have spoken recently but many people will wonder why I haven't run down to whatever hotel you're staying in, scooped you up and taken you home for a hot bath and a steaming bowl of chicken soup.
It's because your father and I know what you're like, Amy.
We want to help you, but we know that unless you want to be helped- unless you come to us-anything we tried would be in vain.
So this letter is my way of making sure that you know that-that all you have to do is come to us, Amy, and we'll do everything in our power to get you well again.
After all, you are still my baby and you always will be.
I pile hope upon hope that you will make that decision, Amy, and your strong will can bend for just a moment to make that decision and come home to me.
Even when you were only a rosy-cheeked five-year-old singing into a hairbrush in front of the mirror, you had a will as stubborn as a mule. Do you remember?
We couldn't ever get you to see things from any angle other than your own. You could swear day was night and Heaven help anyone who tried to disagree.

I completely understand and sympathise with how you feel heartbroken over your separation and I'd do anything to help you end that unhappiness.
No mother likes to see her child suffering like that.
Having to cancel your tour, as well, has been very sad. But I know it's happened for the best.
Despite disappointing all of your fans, who I know you treasure so much, maybe it will pull you up and make you stop and think and take stock of where your life is going.
I pray it does. I hope it makes you realise that although you might be a superstar, you're not superwoman.
Early fame has overwhelmed you, it's dizzied you and muddled your mind. For a moment, forget you're a superstar. You're also young and vulnerable. Geri Halliwell is being forced to leave her 18-month-old daughter Bluebell at home while she and the other Spice Girls prepare to kick off their world tour in
"Bluebell caught chickenpox from Cruz," Halliwell ("Ginger" Spice), 35, revealed on the British TV show GMTV. "She's now completely pelted now so I left her at home. Normally they're running around the set."
As Halliwell suggests on the official Spice Girls' blog, the outbreak was inevitable.
Daughter Bluebell, she says, "loves hanging with the Beckham boys. Cruz and Bluebell have play dates, and Romeo - well, he is just gorgeous with her. Actually, it was a beautiful moment when we were rehearsing the other day and all of our kids were playing on the stage at the same time. It made me smile."

A statement was issued denying reports that Federline is about to seek more child support:
"Every two months, rumors have been raised in the media that Mr. Federline's lawyers are about to go into court to get more money for child support. Persistent questions are again being raised now in the press about the timing of when that will happen.
"As I've said, I know where to find the courthouse and what to do when I get there. If Mr. Federline had wanted to increase child support, it would be very easy to achieve and would have been requested long before now. There has not been and is not now a request before the court for a modification of child support. Mr. Federline's purpose in bringing this action continues to be one that is based upon the best interest of the children as his highest priority."
